WHAT WE DO
The Highlandtown Merchants' Association is lead by elected volunteer merchants and is supported by staff members of the Southeast Community Development Corporation. The association meets on a bi-weekly basis on Friday morning at various merchant venues throughout our Main Street, and all merchants are welcome to attend at any time. Our function is to support and assist the merchants, and to most effectively utilize the dues paid to enhance our district. Some examples of our recent efforts this year have been to assist in utilizing Facade Grants which have resulted in beautifying multiple properties, planting of trees, providing an "Old Time" trolly for merchant events, and new Christmas Decorations.
